Queen's Nursing Student Conference- "Code of Survival"

Queen's Nursing Student Conference- "Code of Survival"

Dear Nursing Students of Ontario,

The NSO is proud to announce that we will be co-hosting the Queens Nursing Student Conference 2014 entitled, “Code of Survival – ER Nursing”.

This is a one-day conference featuring speakers and facilitated discussion encompassing the themes of quick thinking, decisive action, and having a strong stomach, which are essential for emergency room nurses. This conference will give students the opportunity to meet veteran emergency nurses who will share their experiences about working in the emergency department. Learn about the qualities and knowledge required to work in ER and why ER nurses are passionate about what they do.

Each delegate at QNSC 2014 will receive a certificate of attendance, which will include 7 hours of continuing education credits from the Emergency Nurses Association of Ontario. For anyone who is interested in working in the ER after graduation, this is an amazing opportunity, as these hours can be put towards continuing education courses for specialization in emergency room nursing. Even if you don't plan to specialize, these official credit hours are an amazing addition to your nursing resume.
