Nominations for 2017-2018 NSO Executive Now Open

The Nursing Students of Ontario (NSO), the student-governed interest group of the Registered Nurses' Association of Ontario (RNAO), represents and acts as a resource for Ontario's nursing students. It focuses on the needs, concerns and matters of the nursing student body.

NSO is looking for members to join its executive team for the 2017-2018 year. The following executive positions are open:

* The position of President requires at least one (1) year of experience on the NSO executive. Aside from duties listed in the role description, the NSO President will now be a member of the RNAO Board of Directors.

**The position of Vice President requires at least one (1) year of experience on the NSO executive.

Instructions
1. Read the descriptions of the NSO executive positions. You may run for only one executive position.

2. Fill in the nomination form by 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 18, 2017. Please include an essay of no more than 300 words indicating why you wish to be elected to the NSO executive. This essay will be available to voters online.

3. Voting will begin on Tuesday, May 23, 2017, and continue until 9:00 a.m. on Monday, May 29, 2017. NSO members will be directed to a website for voting.

4. Candidates must be Undergraduate Nursing Student Associate members in good standing with RNAO and be registered in an Ontario undergraduate nursing program for the 2017-2018 academic year.
